The National Institute of Health estimates that each year more than 200,000 women will learn they have breast cancer and approximately 40,000 will die from this disease.  Mammograms are one of the most important tools available to screen for breast cancer.  Early detection is the key to better outcomes.  Unfortunately, financial barriers can often prevent women from taking advantage of this important screening tool.

Tri-Lakes Petroleum supports the fight against breast cancer through offering life saving gifts - free mammograms - to women in the Gratiot County area who may not be able to afford the cost of a mammogram.  To date, we have raised over $23,000 in donations toward the free mammogram program for Gratiot County.

For more information on receiving free mammograms, or to provide these life-saving gifts, contact the Mid-Michigan Medical Center - Gratiot Fund Development Department of 300 E. Warwick Drive, Alma, MI  48801 by calling (989) 839-1932.
